Dualit 2-Slice Toaster, Glacier Blue Review

I tried the Breville.I tried some digital toaster.And finally, I realized that if I wanted great toast (perfectly browned to my preference outside, tender inside), then I needed a Dualit.I couldn't be happier with my toaster; I love it so much in fact, I've named it (Stanley) and taken it on an extended working vacation.Some things are worth the money, and these hand-built toasters are one of them.I love the fact that the toast stays warm and doesn't pop up.I love the little tick, tick, tick of the timer.The color blue is both modern and vintage (don't ask me how that is) and it just looks great after all it's been thru (two moves, and lots of use already).In addition, I've toasted pound cake and English muffins and biscuits and all stellar results.SO my advice:spend the money and buy a toaster you'll have for your entire life and that will serve you well during that time.
