Dualit 88860 500-Watt Immersion Hand Blender with Pulse, Chrome Review

As some other reviews have mentioned, labeling this as a 500 watt unit is a bit inaccurate, as the US version is really only 320 watts.That does not detract from the fact that this is a very effective blender.I have used large commercial sized immersion blenders in a professional kitchen which would be overkill for home use, but the Dualit is perfect for my needs.

I have used it for emulsifying salad dressings and blending fruit smoothies.It quickly purees fairly thick soups (gallon-sized quantities in a large stock pot) with no stalling or overheating.

I highly recommend it.
